Your family's
home base.

Neiliro is one calm, private app for the whole household: tasks, calendar, money, notes, and a shared mailbox. Built by a family that got tired of juggling five apps.

Your family gets its own address and a letter with the first steps — 30 days free, then €4.99 a month or €44.99 a year, cancel anytime. Just looking? Poke around the live demo — no signup.

  • No ads, no data mining

Neiliro dashboard: today's tasks, a family calendar, spending summary and recent notes on one screen

What's inside

Everything a household runs on

Tasks

Chores that don't fall through the cracks

Shared projects, recurring chores, and a Today view that shows each person exactly what's on their plate — and what's quietly gone overdue.

Calendar

One calendar the whole family actually sees

Shared events, birthdays, repeating rhythms, and countdowns to the things you're looking forward to — at a glance on the kitchen tablet.

Money

Know where the money goes — together

Accounts, budgets with subcategories, regular bills, and multi-currency support. Reconcile against your real balance to the cent — no spreadsheet required.

Notes

The family's shared memory

Shopping lists, recipes, house rules, packing lists — rich notes everyone can read and edit, living right next to the plans they belong to.

Mail

A mailbox for the household, not another inbox

School letters and utility bills land in the family mailbox where anyone can read them — and one tap turns “the boiler service email” into a task. Replies go out from the shared family address.

Privacy, in plain words

What we can read, and what we can't

Everything your family writes is encrypted in your browser, with a key that never leaves it. We are not being modest about what is left over — here is the whole of it, both columns.

  • We cannot read
  • Notes, tasks and events — every word of them
  • Shopping lists, and what you wrote next to a payment
  • Attachments, and the letters in your family mailbox
  • Anyone who steals our disks or our backups reads no more than we do
  • We can see
  • Dates, amounts and which rows belong together — that is how budgets add up and repeats repeat without reading a word
  • Member names, file sizes, when somebody signed in
  • Your family's address, and the addresses your mail arrives from

Three exceptions, chosen and said out loud. A letter is seen once as it arrives, before it is sealed — that is how e-mail works. A wishlist is readable, because it exists to be shown to people outside the family. A calendar subscription or a shared link opens for whoever holds it, which is the only way another app can read it.

You don't have to take our word for any of this. The app is open source, and every release publishes the hashes of the files it serves — so you can check that the code you were given is the code we published: how to verify a build. The long version lives in the privacy policy and in the design record.

On the go

It lives where your family lives

Neiliro installs straight to your phone's home screen, works offline, and doubles as a kitchen-tablet dashboard. No app store required.

The quiet details

Boring things, done properly

  • Private inside the family too

A personal task or note is yours, not the household's — and there is no admin back door to it either. What everyone shares is shared on purpose, one list or one calendar at a time. (What we can and cannot see is its own section.)

  • Two-factor login

TOTP two-factor auth, a device list, and one-click sign-out of every other session.

  • Works offline

The dashboard still opens in a dead spot, and the app updates itself in the background.

  • Search everything

One search box across tasks, notes, events, transactions, and family mail.

  • Shareable wishlists

Send grandparents a wishlist link before birthdays — no account needed on their side.

  • Calm dark mode

A muted dark theme that won't light up the bedroom at 11pm.

No lock-in

Easy to join. Just as easy to leave.

We run Neiliro for you: your family gets its own private address, and the servers, security, backups, and updates stop being your problem. It's just there — every morning, on every device.

And you're never locked in. Neiliro is open source, and your family's data exports in one click — the full archive, whenever you want. There's even a self-hosted version for the determined (the code is public) — that's how sure we are you'll stay by choice.

  • We take care of
  • Your family's own private address
  • Encrypted daily backups
  • Updates that install themselves
  • Security & certificates
  • You keep: your data, exportable anytime
